Music
The music course caters for all musical interests and tastes. Units of work will focus on 20th century genres from blues to hip hop, film music, dance music, musicals and cultural music.
Dance
Dance explores movement as both a discipline and a form of artistic expression. It will utilise a range of dance styles to challenge all students. They will be exposed to professional practices, holding pieces in repertoire, and developing rehearsal discipline.
Skills being developed are: Creativity, Confidence, Collaboration, Communication, Compassion, Critical Thinking and Culture.
Drama
Drama stimulates creative action and response by engaging the senses, imagination, thinking, and feelings. Studying drama and theatre encourages discovery through experimentation, the taking of risks and the presentation of ideas to others. It results in the development of both theatre and life skills; confidence, creativity and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
